Ministries Mission Statement
The Lay ministry is the centre of the Ghana Mission United Methodist, which involves every member and it is sub divided into various departments such as men’s fellowship, women’s fellowship, the youth ministry, children ministry, usher board, discipleship classes (prayer and bible study groups) and many more.
However, it is the mission of the lay ministry to establish a Christ centered family church portraying the love of God to its current members and all whom God has ordained to be part of this ministry (church). It is also the vision of the lay ministry to help the entire membership of the church to grow spiritually through its various departmental programs and to also develop a sense of leadership skills.
Lastly, as a mission church, the ultimate goal is to fulfill the great commission of our Lord and Master- Jesus as stated in “Mark 16:15”- Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. We believe in the individual gifts and potentials, ‘And he gave some as apostles and some as prophets’……

- Lay Minister: (Assist the Pastor in communicating the mission & vision of the church) *Pastoral care
- Administrative Assistant: (Communicates with Pastor, Ministries, Congregation & Community) *Membership
- SPR Minister: (Ministers to the Employed Staff & Congregation) * Spiritual and Social concerns
- Minister of Evangelism: (Leads the congregation in outreach & mission) *Organizer
- Worship Minister: (Coordinates Music Ministry & Worship) *Usher board, Acolytes
- Finance Minister: Steward of Financial planning & Budgeting *Trustee
- Men’s Fellowship Minister: Leads men in Spiritual formation
- Women’s Fellowship Minister: Leads women in Spiritual formation
- Youth Minister: Leads youth in Spiritual formation
- Children’s Minister: Leads children in Spiritual formation.
